CHALLENGES

CHALLENGES

We challenged ourselves to think beyond the primary role of renovation by designing and manufacturing a collection of objects that would utilise all remaining corners of redundant aluminium sheet material.

Responding to the realities of construction and fabrication allows us to offer unique, narrative-based pieces with longevity. The idea is we’re eliminating waste and so the pieces we create need to last the years in order for this to stand true.

THE THREE PIECES

THE THREE PIECES

Two chairs, six side tables and twenty five incense holders. That’s it. That’s all we could get out of the surplus sheet material and no more to be made. Each sanded, finished and sealed by hand.

Every square metre was carefully considered to balance function, aesthetics, and comfort, creating a space that not only works beautifully but also brings a true sense of joy in coming home.

PRODUCT DETAILS

PRODUCT DETAILS

Limiting the production requirements by using symmetry of design, rivets to avoid welding for the chairs and two equal bends to form the side tables. These pieces are simple in design, and more importantly prove that waste has value.
