ARCHITECTURE
FOR
HOSPITALITY

(ACOUSTICS)
The soft hum of conversation is often an enjoyable soundscape and it can be easily overlooked when designing a space. The sound of the kitchen shouldn’t spill out into the guest spaces, similarly, table 3 shouldn’t be able to hear conversation coming from table 10. We enjoy capturing these elements of a spatial experience during our technical design stages; from the placement and design of speaker systems to the materiality of surfaces, acoustics are always a consideration.

(WELLBEING)

Going out for dinner with family, catching up with friends over a coffee, heading for a city break to unwind; these are moments for us to relax, enjoy, level out and feel inspired. Considering the social, emotional and physical wellbeing of these pursuits help us to take a holistic approach to the design of such spaces. Designing in opportunity for social interaction and moments of welcomed solitude in equal measure.

(SPATIAL EFFICIENCIES)

There is also a considered perspective of those servicing these establishments of hospitality. Creating functional spaces that achieve an ease of efficiency which makes for a more enjoyable atmosphere. We look to work closely with each team in order to understand their pinch points and where we can look to provide support.

We believe that hospitality spaces should do more than serve functional purposes. They should evoke memorable experiences that blend comfort, creativity, and emotional depth. Our design philosophy centers on creating environments that invite connection, enhance experiences and elevate the sensory qualities of a space, whether it’s a boutique hotel, a restaurant, a coffee shop or wine bar.

Functionality and utility is key in hospitality design, ensuring that spaces flow efficiently and meet operational needs. However, we go beyond practicality to craft spaces that feel warm, welcoming, and unique.

From the guest’s first impression to their lingering memories, every detail contributes to a sense of belonging and comfort.

Our work cultivate a sense of connection—between guests, their environment, and the unique character of the space. By harmonizing tradition with modern elements, we create hospitality environments that are both highly functional and emotionally resonant. These spaces are thoughtfully crafted to engage the senses and leave a lasting impression, ensuring that the experience extends far beyond the stay or visit.

A CONSIDERED SPACE

OUR DECISION TO FOCUS ON HOSPITALITY DESIGN STEMS FROM OUR DEEP APPRECIATION FOR SEASONAL INGREDIENTS, NATURAL WINE AND SPECIALITY COFFEE. WE UNDERSTAND THE DEDICATION, PATIENCE AND CRAFTSMANSHIP THAT DEFINE EXCEPTIONAL HOSPITALITY — VALUES THAT RESONATE WITH US PERSONALLY. WE PARTNER WITH HOTELIERS, RESTAURANTEURS AND ROASTERIES TO SUPPORT THEIR VISION, HELPING THEM CREATE SPACES AND EXPERIENCES THAT REFLECT THEIR PASSIONS AND EVELATE THEIR CRAFT.

We have a deep appreciation for hospitality as an industry. We understand that many hands go into a single experience, from the growers and producers to the sommeliers and baristas. We believe a large part of our role is to tell the unique story of each establishment through forms, textures, materials and lighting.    Whether obvious or subtle, the space should express the driving force behind why the doors opened in the first place; creating an atmosphere people enjoy coming back to.
